Lisa Raye has been married twice. Her first husband was to New York Jets wide receiver Tony Martin. Her second husband was Premier Michael Misick a man who has been accused of raping acquaintances of Ms Raye, Lisa is divorced now and currently single.
Lisa began her career as a fashion model working in churches and high schools. She then went into acting appearing for the first time in an independent movie called "Reasons". She then went on to have the lead role in the 1998 movie "The Player's Club" and her career took off. Roles in other movies like "The Wood" and "The Cheapest Movie Ever Made" soon followed. Raye's most recent work is in a 2011 series called "Single Ladies".
